  • What are the must-see sailing events on the Pink Granite Coast in 2026?

    The region is alive with major events such as the Figaro-Paprec race from Perros-Guirec, the Classic Channel Regatta, which brings together legendary yachts between Lézardrieux and England, and the Festival des Mondes [Sous] Marins in Trébeurden.

    Throughout the summer, port festivals (Ploumanac’h, Trégastel) and local regattas celebrate Brittany’s maritime heritage.

  • Where can you attend nautical events or watch the start of regattas?

    The best viewpoint remains the customs officers’ path (GR34). The rocky peaks offer breathtaking panoramas:

    • the Castel at Trébeurden
    • the Renote peninsula in Trégastel
    • Castel Erek at Ile Grande
    • the Plougrescant chasm
    • or the Men Ruz lighthouse in Ploumanac’h offer breathtaking panoramic views.

    For events departing from Perros-Guirec, the Pointe du Château at the end of Trestrignel beach and the jetty on Trestraou beach are great places to admire the flotillas.

    • Spring (April-June): Fewer people, pleasant temperatures, steady winds (ideal for sailing).
    • Summer (July-August): Entertainment guaranteed, but booking essential. Water temperature 18-20°C.
    • Autumn (September-October): Stable weather conditions, magnificent scenery with autumn colours.
