Description
Cut out, assemble, colour in… and bring the paper to life!
How can a simple action – pulling, turning, sliding – produce movement?
With the help of a science guide, take a look at the Manufacture’s old machines and discover how certain mechanisms (gears, cams, crank-connecting rod systems) transform movement.
Then it’s time to get creative! Cut, assemble, colour and invent your own animated paper postcard. Pull-strings, wheels, folds… it’s up to you to play with the mechanisms to bring your creation to life. Take home a unique piece of artwork, made by your own hands: an original souvenir of your visit or a postcard to send and share your holiday experiences.
Thursdays 16, 23 and 30 July, then 6 and 13 August at 11.00.
A family activity, suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Duration: 1 hour.
/!\ €5 in addition to the admission ticket, booking required.

• Understand movement
• Experiment through hands-on activities
