When natural spaces come to life

The Pink Granite Coast is home to exceptional biodiversity and unique landscapes. Protecting these natural areas helps to preserve local ecosystems, maintain air and water quality, and ensure a healthy habitat for flora and fauna. It also contributes to the fight against climate change and to the preservation of our natural heritage for future generations.

There are several simple things you can do: stick to the marked paths, do not litter, avoid picking plants or disturbing wildlife, and use environmentally friendly products. Taking part in the events and workshops organised by the Tourist Office is also an excellent way to raise awareness and take practical action to protect nature.

Among the must-see sites are the Sept-Îles Nature Reserve, the GR®34 Sentier des Douaniers coastal path, and the many unspoilt beaches and coves. These places offer breathtaking scenery and are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, making every visit a unique and enriching experience.

The main threats include pollution, climate change, urbanisation and human activities that are harmful to the environment. These factors can degrade natural habitats, disrupt ecosystems and endanger certain animal and plant species.
