Discovering Lannion and its heritage

Come and discover the town of Lannion from the 12th century to the present day. Relive its history through its architecture and streets.

Discovering Lannion and its heritage

The history of the town of Lannion is told through its architecture and narrow streets. This is a meeting of past and present. Its past is that of a small, traditional town living off its port and weekly market until the 1960s, when it entered the age of new technologies. Its present is embodied in the words of the town’s various players. They will tell you their story, and that of their work, for a more sensitive and interactive visit.

If I Were Told the Trégor Story…

In the company of Ella or Morgane, come and discover the history of this ancient port-town nestling at the bottom of the estuary, with its unexpected destiny. Use your imagination to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the old maritime quarter, a mecca for international coastal shipping, where sandblasters unloaded their cargoes on the famous quays of Aiguillon. Stroll along the narrow cobbled streets with their medieval feel and look up to admire the beautiful facades of timber-framed houses and stone buildings that are so emblematic of the Trégor region. Who knows, you might just uncover the mysteries of the tales and legends of Brittany!
