Due to the current weather conditions and the drought, water supplies are under strain and restrictions are in place. Find out about simple steps you can take to reduce your water consumption. At the same time, the risk of fire in our woodland and heathland areas is very high. To continue enjoying the Pink Granite Coast safely, let’s all adopt some simple everyday habits.
To prevent fires from starting, access to and movement within woods, forests and heathland are also subject to temporary restrictions set out in prefectural and municipal by-laws. It is strictly forbidden to light fires or smoke in these areas. If in doubt, or to plan your walks with complete peace of mind, please check the signage on site, as well as the regulations governing access to wooded areas.
Have you noticed a leak or suspicious smoke?
Report any water leaks immediately to your accommodation provider, and in the event of a fire, alert the emergency services straight away by dialling 18 or 112.
