Tréguier

Tréguier, former capital of Trégor is a pretty Petite Cité de Caractère® de Bretagne. It is one of the seven stages of the Breton pilgrimage known as Mon Tro Breizh®. From the old town to the port, centuries of history are waiting to be discovered.

Historic bishopric

Its two ancient shipowners’ towers facing the marina once marked the entrance to the town. Come and visit its sumptuous Saint Tugdual Cathedral, one of the most beautiful in the whole of Brittany, and its 15th-century Gothic cloister. Also discoverthe Théâtre de l’Arche, the Chapelle des Paulines, and the fifty-seven timber-framed houses that bear witness to Tréguier’s rich heritage past. Take the Saint François footbridge and then wander through the streets to discover other historical sights such as the La Pleureuse, the statue dedicated to Ernest Renan and the Calvaire de la Protestation.
