The Beffou forest or “the home of the beeches” is a massif steeped in history! Originally a metallurgical site, this forest is criss-crossed by an ancient Roman road and hides one of the longest covered walkways in Brittany: the Brohet walkway. This 630-hectare massif is also the highest in Brittany.

Take a walk in the largest wooded area on the coast. A walk in the Lann Ar Waremm woodland (Landes à garennes in French) takes you through 3 different landscapes: moors, woods and meadows! These former farmlands are now home to 300 hectares of biodiversity.

A superb walk in the forest, the light was magnificent! My only regret is that I didn’t come across any Korrigans!
