Timber-framed urban architecture

the example of La Roche-Derrien
Activities for young audiences : The Moutik tribe

During the holidays, the Pays d’Art et d’Histoire invites children to take part in a range of heritage workshops. You too can join Moutik’s Tribe and learn all about our heritage!

Urban timber-framed architecture

At the turn of a street, we pass them, we observe them. They are part of the urban landscape and seem to have been there for centuries… What is a timber-framed house? How are they built? After a short tour of the centre, children will put together a timber-framed façade and will be able to leave with a colouring book of the façades of La Roche-Derrien.
