Ajouter aux favoris

Bathed in the unique light of the Jaudy estuary, Tréguier reveals its most beautiful features. Accompanied by Ella or Yvette, this 1½-hour guided walk invites you to stroll through its historic neighbourhoods, on the lookout for hidden architectural details, secret courtyards and Breton legends. From its foundation in the 6th century to its Gothic gems, come and share a moment of culture and wonder that the whole family can enjoy.

Tréguier and its heritage!

Accompanied by Ella or Yvette, explore the town and wander through its iconic narrow streets, once trodden by the great figures who have shaped its history. From the marina nestled at the head of the Jaudy estuary to the majestic Saint-Tugdual Cathedral, Tréguier offers a charming ensemble that is well worth a visit!

During this unmissable stroll, you’ll discover the monuments and points of interest of this former episcopal city, such as the statue of Ernest Renan, the Calvary of Reparation and the Weeping Woman.

Tréguier, Petite Cité de Caractère®

At the confluence of the Jaudy and Guindy rivers, the Gothic cathedral stands proudly on Place du Martray, inviting visitors to explore its chapels and majestic vaults. Outside, a small flight of steps leads to the cloister, an architectural gem and a museum of stone carvings. All around the Place du Martray, granite mansions and half-timbered houses vie for attention with their beauty, whilst shops, artists’ studios and art galleries pique the visitor’s curiosity. In the heart of the town, Ernest Renan’s birthplace tells the story of the writer’s life and thought.
