Ajouter aux favoris

Fancy living like Robinson Crusoe for the duration of a tide? Setting off from Trébeurden, make the most of the passage opening to walk to Île Milliau and experience a timeless journey along the Pink Granite Coast. Accompanied by a guide, explore this unspoilt gem managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral, listen to its fascinating history — from its Neolithic covered passageway to anecdotes about Aristide Briand — and admire a spectacular 360° panorama of the sea and the rocky outcrops.

Milliau Island,

A listed site owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral, Milliau Island covers an area of 23 hectares. Comprising moorland, rocks and cliffs… Over 250 plant species grow there, making it a veritable little natural paradise. It is also of great geological interest as it is composed of pink granite and is home to one of the oldest volcanic rocks. Aside from the many stories one could tell about this island, another distinctive feature is how to reach it: it can only be reached on foot at low tide.

Milliau Island – 6,000 years old already!

Walk to Milliau Island with a guide from Escapade Glaz and set off on a Robinson Crusoe-style adventure… From curiosities to
, set off on a journey through time. The landscape tells the story of these people, who were in turn hunters, fishermen,
farmers or quarrymen, depending on the season. From the ‘Valley of the Fairies’ to the hotspot for high-society parties, a few delightful anecdotes
will also be revealed
