Stay

Discover forests and rivers

a stone's throw from the Pink Granite Coast

The Goariva site and its wind turbines

Discover the Goariva site on a 5 km hike, with its breathtaking views over the Trégor and Monts d’Arrée. An interpretation trail will tell you more about this remarkable site.

A family treasure hunt

A fun geochaching discovery through bocage, forest, granite and mountains.

  • Difficulty of the cache: Very easy
  • Course duration: 1h30
  • Distance: 4 km

Beffou Forest

Hike through the mysterious Beffou forest, in the footsteps of Job the Woodcutter… Job invites you to discover the secrets of the forest, and you can even go into his little house while he’s away… But make sure he doesn’t notice you! You’ll also visit two arboretums. This mystical forest and its treasures bear mysterious witness to the presence of man long ago…

The Beffou feudal motte

This 11th-century motte castle stands on a rocky outcrop south of Beffou pond. It was the residence of the first lords of the Beffou châtellenie.

A 100% nature day out

The Léguer valley is a remarkable natural site classified as a wild river.
Why not give in to the temptation of an introduction to river fishing with a fishing guide? Then hike to the paper mill valley in the heart of the wooded Léguer valley, a stone’s throw from the Kernansquillec dam.

River fishing activities

In Brittany, water is everywhere. Rivers have sculpted the landscape. The real wealth of the pure waters of the Léguer, which has been awarded the “Site Rivières Sauvages” label, is its wildlife: otters, salmon, trout… Here, river fishing is a no-kill experience, with live fish being returned to the water.

Vélek’tro ride

Climb aboard the saddle of an electrically-assisted bicycle for a ride along wide forest paths, from Beffou to Loguivy-Plougras, passing by the little Saint-Yves chapel. A pure moment of escape and rejuvenation for the whole family, in the heart of a living, unspoilt natural environment.

Where to rent a Vélek’tro

Vélek’tro, the Côte de Granit Rose’s electrically-assisted bicycle, is available for rental by the day or week at all our Tourist Information Offices or at the Tourist Office’s partners. An eco-friendly way to share an experience on the Côte de Granit Rose.

Prepare your stay

For your family holiday in Brittany, between rivers and forests, the Tourist Office offers a wide range of accommodation close to the Chemin des douaniers or in the heart of the Trégor region.
