Maître Braouzec, a notary in Rennes, has been asked to settle the estate of the deceased. It's not every day that a case like this comes across his desk! But the case looks set to be a thorny one: Erwann Abgrall left neither a will nor an heir. Worse still, the usual genealogical research - Braouzec's great speciality - has yielded no results...
