Discover the soul of the village of Port-Blanc by admiring this picturesque half-buried chapel, whose particular configuration reflects the history of Port-Blanc. A simple watchtower in the 13th century, it wasn't until the end of the 15th century that its religious role took precedence over its defensive role, and a new choir was then built in the 16th century. The chapel has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1936. Inside, take a look at the stone altar topped by an 18th-century altarpiece featuring the famous group ‘Saint Yves
between the Rich and the Poor’, a masterpiece of Breton folk art from the 16th century. The 17th-century chancel separating the nave from the choir will catch your eye. As will the polychrome pulpit (1634).
