Les Maraîchers d'Armor

On this 17,000-square-metre site, local producers have built one of the largest fresh vegetable packaging plants in France. Everything that happens here is in the interests of quality! Come and discover how one of the main economic supports of Trégor Goelo functions. In July and August, on Tuesdays at 10:00, there are free tours of the incoming goods, packaging and dispatch sections. Groups are welcome throughout the year, subject to prior reservation. The ‘Coco de Paimpol’, an appetising, semi-dried bean, with a taste of hazelnut or chestnut, and which is always harvested by hand, was awarded the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée label in 1997. From summer onwards the fresh beans are sold in markets and shops.
