This 28-hectare reciprocal water body is located on the upper reaches of the Guic. It marks the administrative border between Finistère and Côtes d'Armor.
Classified as a Category 2 water, it is accessible along its entire length, except on the dyke.
You will mainly find roach, rudd, bream, carp, perch, pike and eels here. Wading is easy as the banks are gently sloping.
Since 2021, the lake has been a No Kill pike zone for 5 years. From 2026, fishing will switch to a catch window to allow for sustainable harvesting. The aim is to revitalise the population and produce large specimens, which are interesting from a biological and fisheries point of view.
Specific mandatory regulations:
- Follow the regulations of Finistère
- 4 rods allowed per fisherman
- Predator fishing is only allowed with lures and flies
- Fishing is allowed all year round for white fish, in accordance with the regulations for specific species: pike, zander and perch
- Float tubes are permitted in accordance with the Guerlesquin municipal by-law. Boats and electric motors must be requested at the town hall
- The upper pond is a permanent reserve
In 2025, following the national moratorium, fishing for migratory species (Atlantic salmon and sea trout) will be completely prohibited in rivers, estuaries and the sea, including catch and release.
