Discover Costaérès castle between land and sea

Trégastel

How can you talk about a boat trip in Brittany without mentioning at least one island? The island of Château de Costaérès is located near the town of Trégastel, opposite the beaches of Tourony and Saint Guirec in Ploumanac’h. The beach is separated from the island by the Ploumanac’h harbour channel formed by the Grand Traouïero river. Once you’ve arrived on the island, head for the château, for a direct view of Ploumanac’h’s Men Ruz lighthouse, Île Renote and the Sept-Îles archipelago. Why not discover these wonders on a boat trip? Ideally, you should devote part of your day to this trip along the water’s edge, to admire the view of the castle and its surroundings.

A walk along the water near Pors Termen beach

Trébeurden

The beach at Trébeurden is a little gold mine, off the main beach at Tresmeur. This one’s even more pleasant, thanks to a landscape full of small islands out of the water. Book a boat trip around its shores and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views, particularly of Île Milliau. An unmissable excursion on a vacation in Brittany!

A day at Port – Blanc between leisure and beach activities

Penvénan

Why not dedicate one day of your vacation to the pleasures of water sports? Thanks to the dozen or so islands and islets close to the Port-Blanc shoreline, yachting enthusiasts and kayakers alike can enjoy an exceptional site! The advantage? It’s naturally sheltered from the wind and swell characteristic of Brittany’s open sea.

Here, each ebb and flow of the tide offers a changing spectacle for boats out for a stroll and/or visiting the area. One moment, the sea is discovering the foreshore, creating an impressive lunar landscape, the next, it’s attacking the granite rocks of the archipelago. A marine outing combining natural beauty and open-air fun!
