Program

Departure

Lannion, a historic city center

Before setting off, enjoy a coffee break on one of the terraces in Lannion’s historic center. Take a stroll through the picturesque streets lined with timber-framed houses and remarkable monuments, before heading for the quays. At the Viarmes bridge, your itinerary starts on the right bank, where the red and white markings of the famous GR34® take you along the old towpath.

Step 1

Beg Léguer

From the little port of Beg Hent, the path rises to reach the pointe de Servel, offering superb views of the Yaudet site, the pointe du Dourven and the whole Bay of Lannion. Continuing up the cliffs and along the beach, you then reach the mighty Beg Léguer lighthouse, the lookout for the entrance to the Léguer valley, hidden between the trees.

Step 2

Goas Lagorn

The vast Goas Lagorn beach, popular with surfers and sunset lovers alike, lies at the entrance to a small valley of preserved bocage. A 3.5km circuit allows you to discover this remarkable and authentic natural area, which is carefully managed to combine agricultural activities with the preservation of the diversity of its environments.

Step 3

Pointe de Bihit

Offering one of the finest panoramas on the Pink Granite Coast, the Pointe de Bihit is one of the GR34®’s must-sees. A steep path leads around this rocky headland, offering views of Trébeurden and Île Milliau, the Finistère coastline in the distance, and the Bay of Lannion, which you’ve skirted from the mouth of the Léguer.

Step 4

Pointe du Castel and Île Milliau

Bordering the beach at Tresmeur, the granite chaos of Castel is a jewel of the Pink Granite Coast. As you walk around this small headland, you’ll discover the pink-tinged rock of the Trébeurden father.

Opposite the Pointe du Castel, Île Milliau is accessible at low tide, but it’s imperative to check the crossing times before crossing to avoid getting trapped on the island.

Getting to the start in Lannion
