Brélévenez Church

Lannion

The church of Brélévenez dates back to the 12th century and is said to have been founded by the Knights Templar. It is reached by a 142-step staircase. This staircase is lined with pretty houses. Numerous altarpieces and a crypt make it an attraction for many visitors.

La Chapelle Saint-Gonery

Plougrescant

The Chapelle Saint-Gonéry in Plougrescant is dedicated to a healing monk of the same name who came from across the Channel.
Recently restored, the remarkable Romanesque ceiling paintings make the chapel a monument to our history, a jewel in our heritage.

Chapel of Notre-Dame du Yaudet

Ploulec’h

Situated on a promontory with a breathtaking view over the Bay of Lannion, the chapel was built in the 11th century on the ruins of a Roman temple. The chapel was subsequently destroyed and rebuilt in the 19th century.
It contains a unique feature in the region: an altarpiece depicting the Virgin lying in a bed of lace.

Chapel of the 7 Saints

Old Market

This chapel is located in the Old Market. Dating from the 18th century, it is dedicated to the 7 Sleeping Saints of Ephesus, a cult celebrated by both Christians and Muslims. Statues representing the 7 saints can be found in the crypt. It is the only remaining testimony in France to the cult of the 7 Sleeping Saints of Ephesus.

Saint-Tugdual Cathedral

Tréguier

A beautiful cathedral dedicated to one of the 7 founders of Brittany, Tugdual, a Welsh monk. It’s a must-see in Tréguier. You’ll be impressed by its size, and once inside you’ll be able to contemplate the richness of its furnishings, its ceilings, its stained glass windows and its many statues… A visit to the cloister is a must afterwards, and will give you a moment of meditation among the many recumbent figures.

The Chapel of Christ

Trébeurden

This building in the commune of Trébeurden is also known as Notre-Dame de Pitié.
Built on a knoll, it offers an extraordinary panoramic view of the sea and the islets.
Inside, you’ll find a stone altar, statues and a calvary dating from the 17th century.
