Radial excursion

The Pink Granite Coast, situated in Brittany, is a true natural gem that offers an idyllic setting for hiking enthusiasts. Its coastal paths, flanked by pink-hued rock formations, offer breathtaking views.

The Customs Officers’ Path, or GR34, is one of the most iconic routes. It winds its way along the coastline, offering unobstructed views of the sea and the surrounding islets. Hikers can admire the granite outcrops – true works of natural art – which stand proudly facing the sea. The changing light throughout the day enhances these formations, creating a fascinating interplay of light and shadow.

Arrival on the Pink Granite Coast

After a day’s drive, you’ll arrive in Lannion at the end of the day – a charming historic town nestled at the head of the Léguer estuary. Just a stone’s throw from the sea, Lannion welcomes you with its picturesque narrow streets and peaceful atmosphere.

You’ll settle in comfortably at the hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the facilities on offer. Whether it’s a restorative nap or a post-dinner stroll along the quayside, Lannion is sure to charm you with its authenticity.

To round off the day in style, a delicious dinner awaits you. Savour the local specialities in a friendly atmosphere, where every bite tells a story. Let yourself be enchanted by the flavours of Brittany and local anecdotes, whilst planning your next adventures in this enchanting region.

Île Grande

This morning, discover the secrets behind the production of Armorik whisky at France’s oldest distillery. You’ll learn how the Breton terroir influences the unique flavours of Armorik and why this whisky has won numerous awards. At the end of the tour, you’ll savour the subtle aromas of malt, fruit and spices that characterise this exceptional spirit.

Next, head to Île Grande for an 8 km walk, where beaches, picturesque little harbours and rugged headlands await you. Exposed to the elements, this island is dotted with numerous traces of old granite quarries, silent witnesses to an industrious past. Every step reveals breathtaking landscapes where nature has reclaimed its rightful place.

In the late afternoon, head to Pointe du Toëno for a gourmet break. Facing the sea, savour a tastingof fresh oysters, accompanied by the sea spray and the sound of the waves. This relaxing moment is the perfect opportunity to savour the authentic flavours of Brittany whilst taking in an exceptional panorama. Let yourself be lulled by the peaceful and revitalising atmosphere of this natural setting, where time seems to stand still.

Ploumanac’h and the Sept-Îles Nature Reserve

Today, head to Trestraou beach in Perros-Guirec for a guided boat trip tothe Sept-Îles Nature Reserve. From the sea, you’ll discover the Pink Granite Coast from a new perspective, where the pink rock formations stand out majestically against the blue of the ocean. Your destination: the Sept-Îles archipelago, and more specifically Rouzic Island, hometo France’s only colony of northern gannets. You’ll have the chance to observe these seabirds in their natural habitat – a fascinating experience for nature lovers.

After a picnic break, put on your walking boots for a 9 km hike through the breathtaking landscape of Ploumanac’h. You’ll be amazed by the boulders of pink granite scattered along the coast and across the moorland, sculpted by time and the elements. The route takes you to the famous Mean Ruz lighthouse, which stands proudly facing the Seven Islands. This iconic lighthouse offers a breathtaking panorama, where the sea and sky seem to merge on the horizon.

This day promises to be full of discoveries and excitement, combining the natural beauty of the Pink Granite Coast with an exploration of an exceptional maritime heritage.

Lannion, a port on the Léguer

The day begins with a guided tour of Lannion, led by a tour guide. You’ll stroll through a maze of cobbled streets and alleyways, where every corner reveals architectural gems. You’ll discover half-timbered or slate-roofed houses, remnants of a rich medieval and Renaissance past. On Place du Général-Leclerc, don’t miss the ‘Maison aux chapeliers’, entirely clad in slate, and its neighbour, adorned with decorative details – true gems of the town.

After lunch in a restaurant in the historic centre, you’ll head towards Goas Lagorn beach. From there, you’ll set off on a 10 km hike through varied landscapes: the Goas Lagorn Valley, the impressive cliffs of Pors Mabo, and the breathtaking panorama from Pointe de Bihit in Trébeurden. Every stage of this walk offers breathtaking views of the Breton coast, where unspoilt nature and the sea air combine to create an unforgettable experience. You’ll be awestruck by the raw beauty of the landscapes, where every step reveals a new natural scene. This day is a true immersion in Brittany’s rich history and natural heritage, leaving you with lasting memories.

Tréguier and the Gouffre de Plougrescant site

Today, you’re heading to Tréguier for a guided tour of this charming ‘Cité de Caractère’. Accompanied by our tour guide, you’ll explore the town’s history as you wander through its picturesque narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses. You’ll also visit the majestic cathedral and its impressive Gothic cloister.

After this cultural immersion, you’ll head towards Plougrescant. As you pass through the village, you’ll catch sight of the unique Saint-Gonery Chapel, recognisable by its leaning bell tower. You’ll then reach the Gouffre site, where landscapes of moorland and rocks sculpted by the elements await you.

Lunch at a restaurant will give you a chance to recharge your batteries before setting off on a 6 km walk starting from the Maison du Littoral. This circular walk will take you around the site and to Pointe du Château, the northernmost point of the Breton coast.

Finally, you’ll return to the hotel to relax and enjoy dinner at the restaurant.

The Landrellec Peninsula and Renote Island

On this final day, you’ll set off on a 10 km walk that will reveal the region’s hidden treasures. You’ll begin by exploring the megalithic site of Kerguntuil, where you can admire a dolmen and a stone-lined passageway, silent witnesses to ancient history. Your route will then take you to the Bringuiller nature reserve, where you’ll walk along a low, rocky coastline, offering breathtaking views of Trégastel and the open sea. You’ll finally reach the small, sheltered harbour of Landrellec, a haven of peace where time seems to have stood still.

After this rewarding circular walk, you’ll head to Trégastel for lunch at Le Coz Pors, an idyllic setting overlooking the sea. You’ll take this opportunity to savour local specialities whilst gazing out at the horizon. The afternoon will be spent exploring the Renote Peninsula, famous for its imposing blocks of pink granite and its breathtaking landscapes. You’ll be amazed by the untamed beauty of this unique place, where nature has sculpted monumental works of art.

Before leaving Trégastel, be sure to stop off at the famous viewpoint for one last glimpse of the Pink Granite Coast. This exceptional vantage point will leave you with an unforgettable memory of your stay.
