Tréguier

Tréguier, the former capital of the Trégor region, is a Breton gem classified as a Petite Cité de Caractère® in Brittany. It is one of the seven stages of the Breton pilgrimage linking towns founded by saints, known as Mon Tro Breizh®. From the old town to the port, you can discover centuries of history through its architectural treasures, so take the time to wander between Gothic cathedrals, silent cloisters and lively squares for a journey to the heart of authentic Brittany!

Historic bishopric

Its two ancient shipowners’ towers facing the marina are a reminder of the golden age when the town’s entrance was marked. Come and visit the sumptuous Cathedral of Saint Tugdual, one of the most beautiful in Brittany, and its 15th-century Gothic cloister. Discover also the Théâtre de l’Arche and the Chapelle des Paulines, which add a touch of elegance to this setting steeped in history. Continue your exploration among the 57 timber-framed houses, witnesses to a prosperous past, then cross the Saint-François footbridge to discover historical curiosities such as the La Pleureuse, a historic monument, the statue dedicated to Ernest Renan and the Calvaire de la Protestation, a symbol of a living past.
