This 16-hectare reciprocal water body is located on the upper reaches of the Yar. This 2nd category pond is accessible downstream of the buoy line.
3 wooden pontoons bring you as close as possible to the heart of the pond to tease white fish and carnivorous fish such as perch and pike.
The lake is part of a remarkable natural heritage and has been classified as a Natura 2000 area and a Regional Nature Reserve in Brittany. With a little patience and a bit of luck, you may even spot some otters.
Specific regulations :
- 4 rods authorised per angler
- Fishing authorised all year round for white fish, in compliance with the regulations relating to specific species: pike, zander and perch.
- Boats and float-tubes are prohibited
- The area upstream of the buoys is a permanent reserve
Services ++ at the tourist office:
* sale of fishing cards
* fisherman's kit (presentation of routes and prefectoral decrees)
* full programme of fishing events
* geolocated access to the banks of the Léguer and Guic rivers
In 2025, following a national moratorium, fishing for migratory species (Atlantic salmon and sea trout) will be completely banned in rivers, estuaries and the sea, including no-kill fishing.
