Conservatoire du Littoral site classified as a regional reserve. A coastal strip of sand and pebbles extending 3.2 km into the sea, the Sillon is a geomorphological curiosity of a size unique in Europe. Ecologically rich thanks to its extraordinary flora and fauna, the Sillon is an important nesting site for seabird species (gravelots) and a migration and wintering ground for many waders, making it a major birdwatching spot in the Côtes d'Armor. Once linked to the islets of Olonne, the furrow is constantly in motion, changing with the flow of water and the availability of sand and pebbles. Like a mineral tongue at its free end.

Due to the presence of a breach in the Sillon de Talbert, 500 m from its start, it is advisable to discover the site two hours after high tide and to return to the coast at low tide. The precise times of passage through the breach can be consulted on the Town Hall website, at the tourist office and on display at the Maison du Sillon.

On-site parking is permitted in the Québo (P1) and Pors Rand (P2 cars only) car parks, a 5-minute walk from the Sillon de Talbert (approximately 400 m). Access to the Sillon de Talbert from the Pors Rand car park is via the GR34 and from the Québo car park via the footpath in the rue du Sillon, where there is an outdoor photo exhibition on the environment of the Sillon de Talbert to guide walkers. Further information at the Maison du Sillon. Various exhibitions on flora and fauna are on display.

Guided nature tours in season for the general public by prior arrangement, all year round by appointment.

Dogs prohibited from 15 April to 15 September (municipal by-law).
