Dedicated to Saint Hervé, Quemperven's parish church dates back to the 16th century, but was extended several times during the 18th century. Several dates provide information on the chronology of the work. Guillaume Rivoallan, a stonecutter and mason from Langoat, worked on this project.
The cross-shaped church comprises a bell tower with buttresses, a nave with aisles, seven bays to the north and five to the south, plus the porch and font chapel, and a choir. To the right of the penultimate bay of the nave, wing chapels form the cross.
The cemetery contains the remains of the priest Dom Maudez-René Le Cozannet, who was credited with miraculous cures and died “in the odor of sanctity”.
The church has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1964.
An information panel is available on site.
It is open on request from the town hall and is located on a hiking trail.
