Skyfall in Pleumeur-Bodou

Climbing to new heights, moving from vine to vine like a Tarzan apprentice, rubbing shoulders with the treetops. For adventure and thrill-seekers, the Vivons Perchés adventure park was a must for us during our stay.

Let’s live perched

Once we arrived at the park, we donned harnesses and, after a safety briefing from the team, we set off into the forest. Over 190 challenges on 14 courses of varying levels of difficulty: platforms from 1 to 15 meters high with zip lines, monkey bridges, Tarzan lianas, nets and much more… will put our balance and agility to the test throughout the day.

From peak to peak

A few hesitant steps at first, but we quickly gain confidence, thanks in particular to the continuous lifeline running along the entire route, which ensures maximum safety. Perched 15 metres above the ground, the more comfortable climbers encourage the less adventurous ones, and we continue our aerial traverses from tree to tree, discovering here and there breathtaking views of the sea above the peaks.

Skyfall, a 100% adrenalin rush.

We can’t stop there, the urge to get higher and push ourselves further is just too strong. I decide to be the first to take on the Skyfall challenge. I begin the 17-meter ascent using the climbing holds. I climb, again and again, one hold after the other, to the encouragement of my friends, who appear smaller and smaller as I get closer to the platform.

Stopover for a deep breath

I reach my goal, release the last hold and find myself 17 metres above the ground. The reward: a superb view of the sea, which I take time to admire as I catch my breath. But I don’t forget what lies ahead. After all, climbing was the easy part. Now, faced with the void, I have to find the courage to take the plunge and jump.

Adrenalin at the summit

I can feel the adrenaline pumping inside me. They say the longer you wait, the harder it is to overcome your fear of heights, but I’m not one to back down, especially not in front of my friends.
I’m ready, I look straight ahead, hold my breath and let myself fall…

A jump of happiness

In just a few seconds of falling, I discover a unique sensation of lightness and freedom that makes me feel as if I’m flying, and at the same time I feel my whole body being pulled by the force of the earth’s attraction to bring me back to the ground.

I jumped in, plucked up the courage and took on the Skyfall challenge. So who’s next?
