This EV4 European cycling itinerary is perfect for those who love cycling holidays. Linking Roscoff to Kiev in Ukraine, it also combines cycling and ferrying around the English Channel via Normandy and England. In Brittany, it makes a spectacular stopover on the Côte de Granit Rose and its legendary landscapes.
From the Lieue de Grève to the Trieux estuary, via Ploumanac’h, you’ll pedal along small, low-traffic roads or old railroad lines transformed into greenways. Whether you use it as a touring route or for short distances, this signposted cycle route, with a few changes in altitude but no major difficulties, will enable you to discover all the riches of the Breton coastline.
A network of family cycling loops completes this itinerary. Specially designed for families, they are of limited length and take you along the small roads of Trégor in complete tranquillity. Castles, chapels, megaliths, flax mills and hidden fountains are just some of the treasures you can unearth at your own pace along these cycling routes.
A number of accommodations in the destination have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label, guaranteeing you a peaceful break before getting back in the saddle!
As occasional cyclists, Velek’tro bikes could well become your best allies for braving the Breton landscape. These electrically-assisted bikes, as well as trolleys and children’s bikes, are available for hire by the ½ day or by the week, from the destination’s tourist offices and numerous partners.
You can enjoy our bike tours with ease thanks to the Vélek’tro electrically-assisted bikes available for hire throughout the Pink Granite Coast.
