Castles and gardens

Notre Dame de Kerfons chapel

In a bucolic setting, close to the verdant Léguer valley, you can discover this little-known chapel, which is nevertheless admired by all who cross its path. Its architecture and furnishings are remarkable, and you’ll be able to rediscover them. What makes it special? Certainly the most extraordinary in Brittany: a magnificent Gothic-style rood screen in polychrome wood, generally admitted to date from 1485.

Tonquédec Castle

Overlooking the Léguer valley, in an exceptional natural setting, the Château de Tonquédec opens its doors to you, for an immersion in medieval Brittany. With its eleven towers, including two dungeons, this castle, the second largest medieval fortress in Brittany, reveals its defensive system and, in the upper courtyard, the daily life of Breton nobility in the 14th and 15th centuries.

Château and gardens of Kergrist

The “pearl of Trégor” on its own already has its brilliance, but set in an environment that marries perfectly with this jewel, it gives the Château de Kergrist a perfect harmony in the architectural balance of the gardens adapted to its facade. The landscaped gardens are constantly evolving for the pleasure of the visitor. Once designed according to a cartoon by Le Nôtre, it still retains its perspectives with the technical improvements of the 21st century.
