
From the Jaudy to the Trieux via the Bizien
After taking time to discover the city of Tréguier with its imposing cathedral, magnificent cloister and timber-framed houses, you take to the road to reach Pouldouran. This little haven of peace nestling at the head of the Bizien estuary offers plenty of opportunities for walks through unspoilt hedged farmland and along the banks of the estuary, where you can spot many birds. After a picnic break, head for La Roche Jagu to visit this magnificent park and its castle overlooking the Trieux.

The Trieux Estuary
On board the Passeur du Trieux, you’ll first explore the estuary on the water towards the mouth and the island of Bréhat. On the way back, your first stop will be at Kermouster, with its magnificent view of the mouth of the Trieux and the Bréhat archipelago. After a picnic break, you’ll head to Lanmodez for a walk along the seafront and inland paths, where you’ll discover 3 remarkable chapels. To round off the walk, there’s nothing better than a gourmet break to sample some locally-produced oysters. At the end of the day, you’ll reach the tip of Laneros, home to the Celtic Whisky Distillery.

The Sillon de Talbert and the Jaudy estuary
The Sillon de Talbert Nature Reserve is a unique place built around a long strip of sand and pebbles jutting out into the sea for more than 3 kilometres. It is home to a rich biodiversity and is a favourite spot for many birds, which come here to shelter and feed. Stop off at the Maison du Sillon de Talbert to find out more about this remarkable site. The ancient semaphore of Creac’h Maout offers a magnificent panorama before you continue your journey up the course of the Jaudy to the sumptuous gardens of Kerdalo.
