In Port-Blanc, just behind the seafront road that passes in front of the nautical centre, take a look at this marsh, a pleasant ‘lung’ in the middle of an urbanised area. In this very special natural area, the vegetation has to adapt to the salt water. Glasswort, Obione and Salt Meadow are found closest to the sea, with wetland plants such as reeds and willows taking over. You may even be lucky enough to spot one or more Little Egrets.
