Who was Saint Yves?
A just man, firmly rooted in his time… and in ours.
Born in Minihy-Tréguier in 1253, Saint Yves devoted his life to justice and mutual aid. A priest, judge and advocate for the poor, he became the patron saint of lawyers and a strong spiritual reference point for the people of Brittany.
Canonised in 1347, the story of Saint Yves in Tréguier continues to inspire: every year, lawyers pay tribute to him during this unique celebration.
