At the crossroads of nature, contemporary creation and encounters, the Festival d’art de l’Estran offers an immersive artistic journey, free of charge and accessible to all. Each edition of the festival focuses on a specific theme, and is enriched by artists’ residencies, educational partnerships and interventions in the public space that offer a new perspective on our relationship with the land.
In 2025, the festival is honouring video artist Olivier Crouzel, whose in situ video installations transform depopulated sites into inhabited places. Using his camper van as a mobile camera, he captures horizons and projects them in unexpected places, in towns and on beaches. It’s a poetic invitation that echoes the theme of this 16th edition: roaming.
