The “sentier des douaniers”, or GR34, is one of the most emblematic routes. It winds along the coastline, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islets. Hikers can admire the granite chaos, a veritable natural work of art, standing proudly against the sea. The changing light throughout the day magnifies these formations, creating fascinating plays of light and shadow.

Arrival on the Pink Granite Coast

After a day’s drive, you’ll arrive at the end of the day in Lannion, a charming historic town nestling at the end of the Léguer estuary. Situated just a stone’s throw from the sea, Lannion welcomes you with its picturesque streets and peaceful atmosphere.

Make yourself comfortable at the hotel, where you can relax and take advantage of the facilities on offer. Whether it’s for a refreshing siesta or a digestive stroll along the quays, Lannion will seduce you with its authenticity.

The Ile Grande

This morning, discover the secrets of making Armorik whisky at France’s oldest distillery. You’ll discover how Brittany’s terroir influences the unique flavours of Armorik and why this whisky has won several awards. At the end of the tour, you’ll savour the subtle malt, fruit and spice aromas that characterise this exceptional beverage.

Next, head to Île Grande for an 8km walk, where beaches, picturesque little ports and wild points await you. Exposed to the elements, this island contains many traces of ancient granite quarries, silent witnesses to an industrious past. Each step reveals breathtaking landscapes, where nature has reclaimed its rights.

In the late afternoon, head to the Pointe du Toëno for a gourmet stopover. Facing the sea, savour a tasting offresh oysters, accompanied by the sea spray and the song of the waves. This moment of relaxation is ideal for enjoying the authentic flavours of Brittany while taking in the exceptional panorama. Let yourself be lulled by the peaceful, revitalising atmosphere of this natural setting, where time seems to stand still.

Ploumanac’h and the Sept-îles nature reserve

Today, head for Trestraou beach in Perros-Guirec for a guided cruise tothe Seven Islands nature reserve. From the sea, you’ll discover the Pink Granite Coast from a new angle, where the pink rock formations stand out majestically against the blue of the ocean. Your destination: the Seven Islands archipelago, and in particular Rouzic Island, home toFrance’s only colony of gannets. You’ll have the chance to observe these seabirds in their natural habitat, a fascinating experience for nature lovers.

After a picnic break, put on your hiking boots for a 9km excursion through the breathtaking site of Ploumanac’h. You’ll marvel at the pink granite boulders scattered along the coast and moorland, sculpted by time and the elements. The route takes you to the famous Mean Ruz lighthouse, which stands proudly facing the Seven Islands. This iconic lighthouse offers a breathtaking panorama, where sea and sky seem to merge on the horizon.

This day promises to be rich in discoveries and emotions, combining the natural beauty of the Pink Granite Coast with the exploration of an exceptional maritime heritage.

Lannion, a port on the River Léguer

The day begins with a guided tour of Lannion, accompanied by a tour guide. You’ll wander through a maze of cobbled streets and alleyways, where every nook and cranny reveals architectural marvels. You’ll discover half-timbered and slate-clad houses, relics of a rich medieval and Renaissance past. On the Place du Général-Leclerc, don’t miss the “Maison aux Chapeliers”, entirely clad in slate, and its neighbour, adorned with decorative details, veritable jewels of the town.

After lunch in a restaurant in the historic centre, you will head for the beach at Goas Lagorn. From here, you embark on a 10 km walk through a variety of landscapes: the Goas Lagorn valley, the impressive cliffs of Pors Mabo, and the breathtaking panorama of the Pointe de Bihit in Trébeurden. Each stage of this walk offers breathtaking views of the Breton coast, where wild nature and sea air combine for an unforgettable experience. You’ll marvel at the raw beauty of the landscape, where each step reveals a new natural tableau. It’s a day that immerses you in the rich history and natural beauty of Brittany, leaving you with lasting memories.

Tréguier and the Plougrescant chasm site

Today, you’re off to Tréguier for a guided tour of this charming Cité de Caractère. Accompanied by our guide, you will explore the history of the town as you wander through its picturesque streets lined with half-timbered houses. You’ll also visit the majestic cathedral and its impressive Gothic cloister.

After this cultural immersion, you head for Plougrescant. As you pass through the village, you’ll see the unusual Saint-Gonery chapel, recognisable by its leaning bell tower. You will then reach the Gouffre site, where landscapes of moorland and rocks sculpted by the elements await you.

Lunch at the restaurant will give you a chance to recharge your batteries before setting off on a 6km hike from the Maison du Littoral. This loop will take you around the site and the Pointe du Château, the most northerly point on the Breton coast.

Finally, return to the hotel to relax and enjoy dinner in the restaurant.

Landrellec peninsula and Renote island

On this final day, you’ll embark on a 10km hike to discover the hidden treasures of the region. You’ll start by exploring the megalithic site of Kerguntuil, where you can admire a dolmen and a covered walkway, silent witnesses to ancient history. Your route will then take you to the natural site of Bringuiller, where you will walk along a low rocky coastline offering breathtaking views of Trégastel and the open sea. Finally, you’ll reach the sheltered little port of Landrellec, a haven of peace where time seems to stand still.

After this rewarding loop, you’ll head to Trégastel for lunch at Coz Pors, an idyllic setting overlooking the sea. Here you can savour the local delicacies while gazing at the horizon. The afternoon will be devoted to discovering the Renote peninsula, famous for its imposing blocks of pink granite and breathtaking scenery. You’ll be amazed by the wild beauty of this unique place, where nature has sculpted monumental works of art.

Before leaving Trégastel, be sure to stop off at the famous panorama for a final view of the Pink Granite Coast. This exceptional viewpoint will leave you with unforgettable memories of your stay.
