Leaving the beach at Saint Guirec, the eye takes in the white sandy cove with, at its centre, the oratory housing the statue of the saint of the same name and, on the far left, the astonishing neo-medieval castle of Costaérès (1896), reminiscent of a film set.
Along the way, you’ll come across a succession of granite chaotic features with names modelled on their shapes – the upside-down bottle, the sorcerer, the scallop shell – as you follow the customs officers’ path to the Mean Ruz lighthouse (2 km).
Lunch at a seaside restaurantoverlooking the granite chaos.
