The town’s mansions, manor houses, former convent and cloister are all part of a subtle architectural palette, while its technology park breathes a breath of innovation and energy into the life of the town.

One of France’s most important spaces devoted to photography, it has seen the work of photographers who have gone down in the history of the medium, such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Man Ray and Jacques-Henry Lartigue, as well as a host of big names, including Jane Evelyn Atwood, William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Georges Rousse and François Méchain.

It’s a little-known place, yet admired by those who cross its path. It has remarkable architecture and furnishings that you can rediscover. What makes it special? Certainly the most extraordinary in Brittany: a magnificent Gothic-style rood screen in polychrome wood, generally admitted to date from 1485.
