The parish church of Saint-Efflam has been protected as a Historic Monument since 1 December 1908. Much altered, it was burnt down by the Germans in 1944, then restored during the 2nd half of the 20th century. It was originally located within an enclosure that included a calvary and an ossuary.

Since the 15th century, the building has undergone constant change, in line with demographic trends, until the 19th century, when it took on its current form. Between 1830 and 1868, the road was extended and the cemetery, calvary and ossuary were removed. The church was extended in width and the south façade was altered.
In the pediment, two niches house the statues of Saint Gestin and Saint Efflam. Under the vault, you can admire a double hedge of apostles, Kersanton granite statues by the famous Breton sculptor Roland Doré (1630). The interior is remarkable for the size of its nave and triple aisles, supported by 37 pillars and lit by 1950 stained-glass windows by Hubert de Sainte-Marie.

It is located on one of the ‘A pied autour de Plestin’ hiking trails.
